This well-organised city offers to visitors a variety of picturesque routes to follow and numerous historical monuments to visit. You may find anything you need within walking distance, super markets, cafes, wonderful sea side restaurants, bars, bus station, pharmacy, banks....all reached on foot or by bike! Great for a car free holiday break with loved ones to explore the wonderful city of Rethymno. Although, if you insist on renting a car, you can park it in public spaces within a few minute walking distance. Gratefully, there is plenty of space for your bicycles. Part of the hip new Rethymno is going by bike—with skirts and high hills if you please.
